NBT associated with 2 different education associations for the serious dancer:

Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro and BigFish Learning Community in Dover.

Northeastern Ballet Theatre is associated with two different educational institutions to offer the serious dancer the opportunity to attend school as well as dance as much as possible - Brewster Academy and BigFish Learning Community.  BigFish is located in the McConnell Center next door to NBT. BigFish provides support for teens to leave conventional school and build an education of their own based on personal interests, skills and passions. BigFish believes students who drive their own educational choices are intrinsically motivated to seek out challenges, solve problems, invent solutions, and become better versions of themselves. Teens will receive a mentor and with mentors, teens will track progress, make plans for the future, and facilitate connections with the wider world. BigFish will consistently run classes in basic math, advanced math, literature, writing, history, and all levels of Spanish. Additional classes, workshops, and tutorials will be offered on a variety of topics. The schedule will be a reflection of the interests and expertise of our students, core staff, community teachers & volunteers. Please visit bigfishnh.org for details. NBT has also set up a similar collaboration with Brewster Academy www.brewsteracademy.org in Wolfeboro.
